Approving hosts, clusters, databases, and instances

Hosts that have been discovered are not available for provisioning tasks until they are approved within BMC Database Automation.  During the approval process, hosts must be assigned to an existing domain, subdomain, or to the Grid domain (root level). Once assigned, the host is available for provisioning by users who have been granted privileges (through Group membership) on the domain.

If no domains are configured, approved hosts become assigned to the Grid domain.
