Future product changes

This topic describes changes that will occur in future releases of the product. These changes can affect the way in which you configure or run the installed version of BMC Database Automation.

End of full support for version 8.2

Full support for BMC Database Automation version 8.2 ends on January 31, 2015. Limited support remains in effect until January 31, 2017.

End of support for platforms and databases

The upcoming major releases of the BMC Database Automation product will no longer support the following platforms and databases:

  • Microsoft Windows Server 2000
  • Microsoft SQL Server 2000
  • Oracle version 9iR2
