Approving DB2 instances
This topic describes how to approve IBM DB2 instances in BMC Database Automation. DB2 instances discovered by BMC Database Automation appear in the Pending Approval section of the Management Console.
To approve a DB2 instance
- Select Pending Approval > DB2 Instance from the Context Frame.
Any DB2 instances that are pending approval display. - Check the boxes for the databases that you want to approve.
- Click Approve Selected.
- In the General page, click Approve.
A success message appears and the instances no longer appear in the pending approval list.
Tip: For faster searching, add an asterisk to the end of your partial query. Example: cert*
