Remove Node

The Remove Node tool enables you to remove a server from management in BMC Database Automation.

To use the tool, type the following command:

unapprovenode.pl <manager_fqn> <exec_id> <server_ip>

User example

The following command removes an unapproved node on bdamgr.mycompany.com.

unapprovenode.pl https://bdamgr.mycompany.com:8087 2013-MAY-30 192.168.1.5

Note

If the BMC Database Automation agent is started on the server in question after it is unapproved, i automatically re-appears in the unapproved nodes list. The command fails if the node is in the running state (the dagent service on the server must be stopped prior removing the node from BMC Database Automation).

Tip: For faster searching, add an asterisk to the end of your partial query. Example: cert*
