Viewing audit logs
To view audit logs, perform these steps:
- From the Context Frame on the Management Console main page, select Security > Audit Logs.
- You can also view the audit logs for each domain or node by selecting the Audit tab within the Grid view for that domain or node.
To sort the following fields in ascending or descending order, click one of them:- Date
- Username
- Event
- Job
- To view the audit details for a subdomain, select a subdomain from the Grid that appears below Audit Logs in the Context Frame.
- To filter the audit logs by date range, in the Filter section select a Start Date and End Date, and click Filter.
The following table describes the items in the Audit Log table:
Audit Log Column | Description |
---|---|
Date | Displays the date and time the event occurred |
Username | User name of the administrator who initiated the task |
Event | Description of the event |
Job | Displays the Job Id of an event Not every event must have a Job Id. |
Log | Click the magnifying glass icon to view a text file that contains additional log details for the event. You are prompted to either open or save the file. |
