To create an Oracle comparison report

This section describes how to create a report that compares Oracle databases, using the Patch Report type as an example. The steps to create other types of Oracle comparison reports are essentially the same.

  1. From the Context Frame, select Reports > Oracle Reports > Comparison Reports > Patch Report.
  2. In the Patch Report page, select the entities that you want to compare.
  3. Specify the point-in-time that you want this report to show, and click Next.
For the current time, leave the settings as they are.
  4. Select a reference for the report, or select the Do not use a reference option.
When a reference is selected, the other two entities are compared against the selection, and the differences are highlighted in the report.
  5. Click Run.

To create an Oracle timeline report

This section describes how to create a report that shows various changes to an Oracle database over a specified period of time. As an example, these instructions show how to create a report that shows the patches that were installed on an Oracle database over a specified period of time. The steps to create other types of Oracle timeline reports are essentially the same.

  1. From the Context Frame, select Reports > Oracle Reports > Timeline Reports > Patch Report.
  2. In the Patch Report page, select the entities that you want to compare.
  3. Specify the point-in-time that you want this report to show.
