Space database options
This topic summarizes each detail space trending option and its corresponding SETSRM keywords, action line commands, and EZCmd menus.
With all Space Utilization views, you can use the TIME command to set date and time ranges for the reporting period when displaying a single resource. For information about using the TIME command, see the Using-MainView-products or type Help TIME on the COMMAND line to access online Help.

Capacity Planning | Advances to the CAPDB view. This view displays a list of VSAM data sets that are assigned to the space collector for storing summary records. Space Collector
| Advances to the SPDB view. This view displays statistics about the data sets that make up the MainView SRM space collector database. The tabular view displays one line per data set in the database. For each data set, the time range on the file and number of records are displayed. Space Intervals | Advances to the CIS records view. This view displays all the CIS records that are in the space collector database. The view includes the date and time of an interval, the number of records in the interval, and the type of interval. A CIS record can be selected to hyperlink to related views, based on the type of CIS record. Depending on the CIS record, there will be different line commands available as shown in the following table. Collection interval summary line commands
