2 Installation

See section 2.1 if you are installing the Windows version of the Reservoir.  See section 2.2 on page 2-6 if you are installing a UNIX or Linux version. 

Notes

  • Before you begin the installation of Reservoir, you must have installed version 3.8 or higher of the UPSTREAM client and the client should be configured to use the IP address of 127.0.0.1 and the port number that the server will use.
  • It is acceptable to use the default of 1972 for both input and output port as the IP address of 127.0.0.1 will identify this as the local Reservoir system.
