Create an Extract File

Create an extract file with volume data information. These are some of the fields used by the reports in this set:

  • UCBSTATS - UCB status indicators
  • VLALOSTA - Volume allocation status
  • VLCTLSER - Controller serial number

FDRPAS SIMSWAP has these uses:

  • Validates all of the operands.
  • Validates the source volume(s) for structural errors in the VTOC and VVDS.
  • Determines the systems with access to the source volume.
