Grouping

You can specify how the data sets will be grouped on the output tapes. Each “group” of data sets is used to create a separate output volume, or multivolume set.

Q: Do you want all of the output data sets to be grouped together (“stacked”) in a single group? This minimizes the number of output tapes used.
