Customizing the Sigma Web Framework style sheet

The s-header.html file references a style sheet, styles.css, also located in the installationDirectory\s-html directory. (Replace installationDirectory with the directory in which you installed the product. The default directory is C:\Program Files\BMC Software\BMC Defender.) You can configure the style sheet location in the s-header.html file. Like any other style sheet, the user can place global styles, such as fonts, colors, and other screen characteristics.

Style sheets (also referred to as Cascading Style Sheets or CSS) are content-independent specifications, residing in web-accessible locations. Web pages read the style sheet to define their layout and style. Separating style from content enables experienced developers to modify and manage the appearance of the Sigma Framework system. Customize the Sigma style sheet to control the look and feel of the system in any OEM application or when adapting Sigma to an enterprise.

By default, the Sigma Framework style sheet is very simple, and contains only those styles needed to set the font consistently within Sigma. You can experiment with styles and define new styles associated with your applications. Numerous references on CSS and style sheets is available on the web and from a variety of other sources.
