Dashboard screens

One of the main BMC Defender Server applications, and one of the easiest to get started with is the Dashboard facility, that is accessed via the second tab at the top of the screen. The dashboard facility allows you to select a layout field and then add Gadgets that depict the current state of messages, devices, alerts, threads, users, and other real-time system parameters. Multiple dashboards can exist on the system, and you can select their default dashboard (first displayed when you click the Dashboard tab) in their User Preferences.

Dashboards are especially well suited as monitor screens for network operation centers, or as a top-level screen for the entire BMC Defender Server system. In addition to displaying real-time summary status, you can click down into dashboards to view detailed message data and statistics, making it well suited as a BMC Defender Server navigation tool.
