Update considerations

Before you update the BMC Defender Agent for Windows product, back up the following configuration files. Replace installationDirectory with the directory in which you installed the product. The default installation directory is C:\Program Files\BMC Software\BMC Defender.

  • installationDirectory\CO-sysmsg.cnf
  • installationDirectory\CO-tsend.cnf
