Overview of BMC Defender Agent for Windows


This section contains installation and application notes regarding the BMC Defender Agent for Windows that is a compact set of software tools that instrument a Windows Vista, XP, or 200X operating system with syslog capability. This section permits theBMC Defender SIEM Correlation Server to effectively manage Windows platforms in addition to managing UNIX platforms, routers, and mainframe computers.

The BMC Defender Agent for Windows is very lightweight and easy to install. You can install the program on each Windows platform of interest in an organization or enterprise.
