Accessing Session Monitor Documentation


The Session Monitor documentation is available at BMC documentation portal. Release Notes are provided in HTML format and manuals in Portable Document Format (PDF) and HTML:

  • Release Notes—Provides recent information for the Session Monitor product. In this file, you can quickly access technical notes and a list of the new features available in the release. The Release Notes may be updated throughout the life cycle of a release with the most current version located on the BMC Support for easy access to the latest product information.

  • Getting-started—Provides installation and configuration procedures.
  • Customizing-after-installation—Supplements the Session Monitor Installation and Configuration Guide, providing further customization instructions and reference information.
  • Using—Explains how to use the Session Monitor Archive Function.
  • Messages—Explains the messages and codes that Session Monitor produces.

  1. Log-in.

  4. Select the desired release. The docs Dashboard presents a documentation list containing links to each of the product’s manuals in all of the available formats.

Using this space

The space explains all messages and codes that the Session Monitor product may present during operation and, if applicable, provides response instructions. The Session Monitor User-Abend Codes topic details user-abend codes. Subsequent chapters contain message information listed in alpha-numeric order and organized by prefix. Use the “Table of Contents” to help you find the message information you need.
