Downloading and preparing files for installation | | Download the RSS base version (if you don't already have it) and the latest SPE to your PC. WarningImportant RSS provides the core components for BMC AMI Security RSS-based products that you must install before you install the product. Record the high-level qualifier you use for the RSS runtime and installation SMP/E data sets. You must use the same high-level qualifier when you run the supplied INSTALL procedure for the product. - Download the product base version (if you don't already have it) and the latest SPE to your PC.
- On the mainframe, preallocate data sets to receive the XMIT files from your PC.
- On the mainframe, run the RECEIVE command to transmit the XMIT files to the data sets.
