Defining the checkpoint data set

BMC AMI Security Policy Manager uses a checkpoint data set that you create and identify in the Security Policy Manager server JCL. Define the data set with the sample JCL member ALLOCCHK in the RSMSAMP PDS.

Warning

Each server instance must have its own checkpoint data set. Otherwise, it conflicts with other instances and produces unexpected results.

Where to go from here

After you define the checkpoint data set, review the startup JCL procedures.

Tip: For faster searching, add an asterisk to the end of your partial query. Example: cert*
