BMC AMI Security Administrator is a browser-based tool used to simplify RACF user and group administration. It does not require mainframe expertise or specialist skills. Security Administrator provides improved speed, efficiency, productivity, and accuracy to RACF administration.

Features of Security Administrator

Security Administrator provides the following features for your benefit:

• Intuitive browser-based solution for RACF administration and faster and more efficient task throughput
• Single interface replicates commands across multiple RACF database, removing the need for administrators to log on to multiple Time Sharing Options (TSO) or IBM CICS systems
• Secure data exchanges with the mainframe using a secure HTTPS link, and built-in security profiles restrict features to specific administrators
• Full audit log of all RACF changes made is viewable online and downloadable

• Search users—quickly find users on the system by their name or user ID
• Manage users—add new users, display and update user profiles, revoke or resume users, change user name and password, add or remove users from groups, update user custom fields, remove users
