Getting started
The BMC AMI Resident Security Server is the core program product that provides the infrastructure for a suite of BMC AMI Security products, referred to as RSS applications.
RSS includes the following utilities:
- Audit Log
- Tools
RSS provides the following features:
- Common user interface
- Inter-product communications
- Audit logging
- Vast library of callable services to perform system and security operations
RSS provides the core components for the following products:
- BMC AMI Enterprise Connector for Illumio
- BMC AMI Enterprise Connector for Venafi
- BMC AMI Security Policy Manager
- BMC AMI Security Privileged Access Manager
- BMC AMI Security Self Service Password Reset
RSS-based software can interoperate across multiple address spaces, multiple LPARs, and sysplexes.
