Using the TSO/ISPF user interface
To log on to EC for Illumio
- On the TSO/ISPF interface, run the rsiadmin command.
- Enter your TSO user ID and password, and press Enter.
After logging in, the main menu for the product is displayed:
To promote a policy to production
- On the main menu, enter m to select Manage Policies. The Available Policies panel displays a list of policies that are available to be promoted into production.
- Enter p to select a policy.
- On the Promote Policy to Production panel, enter Yes or No in the Refresh Policy Agent field to refresh the Policy Agent either dynamically or manually.
- Press Enter to promote the selected policy.
To delete a policy
On the Available Polices panel, select the policy to delete and enter d.
To view a policy
On the Available Polices panel, select the policy to view and enter v.
To compare policies
You can compare two policies at a time.
On the Available Polices panel, enter c against the two policies that you want to compare.
The product compares the selected policies using SuperC and displays the results.
To restore a policy to its previous level
- On the main menu, enter b to run the backout command.
- On the Restore Policy to previous level panel, enter the stack name.
- Enter Yes or No in the Refresh Policy Agent field to refresh the Policy Agent either dynamically or manually.
- Press Enter to restore the policy to the previous level.
To view policies on the z/OS and Unix directory list
On the main menu, enter v to see the list of policies on the z/OS and Unix directory.
To view system status
On the main menu, enter s.
To view devices
On the main menu, enter d to see a list of devices that are detected on the Illumio PCE.
To view workloads
On the main menu, enter w to see a list of workloads that are detected on the Illumio PCE.
To refresh Illumio data
On the main menu, enter r.
To export interface and service data
- On the main menu, enter e to display the Export TCP/IP interface and Service Data panel.
- In the Export Dataset field, enter the output data set location.
- In the Export Volume/SMS field, enter the export volume for the data set or enter SMS.
- Press Enter.

To manage log files
You can use the Manage Logs option to add and remove log files, and also to display the status of the log files. On the main menu, enter l to access the Available Logfiles panel, which displays a list of all the available log files.
On the Available Logfiles panel:
- To display the status of all log files, enter m.
- To add a log file, enter a, enter the log file name, and press Enter.
- To remove a log file, select the log file, enter d, and press Enter.
