Verifying the installation

As the system administrator, you can start the product to verify the installation.

To start the product

To start the product, use a standard MVS start command:

S productName

Replace productName with the name of the member that you copied from the RSMSAMP library to your procedure library, for example, RSSPROC.

If error messages are written to the MVS console, contact BMC Support with the JESMSGLG, JESYSMSG, and SYSPRINT files.

After you start the product, authorized users can log on through a browser to the HTTP port. If you require a secure environment, use AT-TLS, as documented by IBM.
