To see documentation for that version, see BMC AMI Datastream for z/OS 7.1.

Format of parameter and field definition files

The parameter and field definition files must have a logical record length (LRECL) of 80 and a record format (RECFM) of fixed blocked (FB). Each must be a member of a PDS or PDSE and might have any member name acceptable to z/OS.

Each file consists of records, each of which must be either completely blank or contain a valid BMC AMI Defender parameter statement and a comment. Parameter statements begin with a parameter name followed by at least one blank and might extend over one or more records. BMC AMI Defender and CZASEND ignore columns 73 through 80 of the parameter file records; parameter data might not extend beyond column 72 of the records. Other than the restrictions given, the parameter file is completely free form. Except where otherwise specifically indicated, parameters and operands might be specified in upper, lower, or mixed case.

Technically, for CZAGENT it must be a member of a PDS or PDSE; CZASEND does not have this restriction, although the parameter file would typically be a PDS or PDSE member.
