LICENSE statement
The LICENSE statement is used to authorize BMC AMI Defender to run on a particular LPAR or LPARs for a particular period of time. The LICENSE statement is required for BMC AMI Defender. The LICENSE statement organization name is used by CZASEND, but CZASEND does not require a LICENSE statement.
Code the LICENSE statement as directed by BMC Defender. Do not change any of the values supplied by BMC Defender. (Blanks between parameters and the order of parameters are not significant.) For instance, if your organization name is specified or spelled incorrectly, do not change it yourself: contact BMC for a new LICENSE statement.
Do not code more than one LICENSE statement.

TRIAL(CPUIDS(cpuids) EXPIRES(SUPPORT(date) USAGE(date)) | Specifies the CPUIDs (loosely, computer serial numbers) on which you are licensed to use BMC AMI Defender, and the time period during that you are authorized to do so. PRODuction license specifications refer to your normal day-to-day production operations. RECOVERY license specifications are special licenses that allow you to run BMC AMI Defender on one or more disaster recovery CPUs for a maximum of thirty days only. TRIAL license specifications allow you to try BMC AMI Defender or one or more BMC AMI Defender features on one or more CPUs for a limited period of time. CPUIDS is a list of CPUIDs on which BMC AMI Defender is licensed to operate. The hyphen (-) is a wildcard character that matches against any character in the running LPAR’s CPUID. (To determine your LPAR’s CPUID, issue, or have someone with console authority issue, the D M=CPU console command, or refer to BMC AMI Defender or CZASEND message CZA0002I. Dates are in yyyymmdd format, where yyyy, mm, and dd are the last authorized year, month (01 to 12) and day respectively. SUPPORT specifies the expiration of BMC Support: you might not run a version of BMC AMI Defender that is newer than your SUPPORT date. USAGE specifies the expiration of your license to use BMC AMI Defender: BMC AMI Defender do not execute after this date. |
