Setting up CZASEND

There is a JCL procedure (PROC) in amihlq.SAMP named CZASEND. You can use it to facilitate the use of the CZASEND program. You should customize the procedure and add it to your SYS.PROCLIB concatenation. (Alternatively, you can use a JCLLIB statement in each job that uses CZASEND, or incorporate the statements found in CZASEND directly into your jobs.)

Edit the CZASEND procedure in amihlq.SAMP. Change all amihlq references to your chosen high-level qualifier. You can change the CZAPRINT statement as desired (typically it references a held SYSOUT class).

We recommend that you copy CZASEND to a data set in your SYS1.PROCLIB concatenation.

Modify the default CZASEND parameters found in amihlq.PARM(CZAPSEND) to select a SIEM type and specify a target SIEM server IP address.
