Installation process overview

The following topic provides an overview of the installation process for

BMC AMI Datastream for z/OS

. 

BMC AMI Datastream products are available in z/OSMF consumable portable software instance (PSI) format. If you are using z/OS 2.5 or later, you can install and configure the product via Installation using z/OSMF.

During the installation process you must customize and submit JCL installation jobs. The installation package includes the tersed mainframe data set, ADZvrmm.trs. It contains all of the load libraries, JCL statements, and control files that are required to install and run
