As an advanced programmer, you can format records from other products in BMC AMI Datastream by first passing them through BMC AMI Datastream.

To do this, you need knowledge of z/OS assembler or C/C++, and you must be familiar with the concepts and functionality of BMC AMI Datastream.

You do not require BMC AMI Datastream API for the normal installation, configuration, usage, and maintenance of BMC AMI Datastream.
