Displaying data tables
Visualizer presents data about a variety of platforms in a graph format. Visualizer can display the same data in tables. You can include the tables in reports and spreadsheets that other applications generate. The Show Table command is enabled for graphs (bar, line, pie, area, and hierarchy) associated with the Graphics Options dialog box and hierarchies.
Use data tables when you need to display exact values. Use graphs when you want to examine the relationships between values.
- Click a graph that is associated with the Graphics Options dialog box or a hierarchy.
- Select Edit > Show Table.
The data table is displayed.

Using Visualizer data in other applications
You can cut and copy data from a data table and paste it into reports and spread sheets generated by other applications. You can also delete data from the table.
- Click a graph that is associated with the Graphics Options dialog box or a hierarchy.
- Select Edit > Show Table .
- Use the following keys, buttons, and mouse actions to select and deselect data in the data table that you want to cut or copy to another application.
- Select contiguous cells — Press Shift+Click.
- Select all — Click in the empty cell at the head of the interval column to select all the cells in the table.
- Select columns — Click in the cell at the top of each column that contains the component name to select all the cells in the column.
- Deselect all — Click outside the selected areas.
- Do one of the following to move the selected data to the Clipboard.
- Select Edit > Copy to move a duplicate of the original to the Clipboard.
- Press Print Screen to move a duplicate of the en tire screen to the Clipboard.
- Switch to the application you want.
- From the appropriate menu in the application, click Paste.
Displaying individual interval data
You can display the data for specific graph intervals by double-clicking the interval you want to view. For example you might have questions about the 5:00 to 6:00 P.M. interval. If you double-click the interval in the graph, you get a display similar to the following figure:
