Creating scripts: An overview


To automate routine tasks and create a seamless script, start small and build incrementally. Start with a default script and disable all but one event. Preview and test the event. Once it runs smoothly, enable and test another event. The following figure displays the basic tasks you perform when creating and testing scripts.

Note

As you add or enable events in a script, you can run and test single events.

With this product, you get inclusive default scripts that reflect a production environment. To use them as the foundation for customized scripts, modify the default scripts and save them with the same name. The next time you open a script, you are using custom defaults.
