UIE processes the Db2 statistics and accounting trace data, which is written to the SMF data set.

Record type 100 provides Db2 system-wide information; record type 101 provides Db2 transaction detail information.

You can activate the trace by identifiers, such as:

  • Db2 Plan Name
  • Correlation ID
  • Authorization ID

You can also activate traces by trace types, such as:

  • Statistics
  • Accounting
  • Performance

For UIE, collect statistics and accounting trace for all your Db2 transactions and jobs.
