CICS data collection

To collect CICS data, run your monitor each day for the same time period so that you can make comparisons of activity levels.

For best results, run the monitor daily for the entire first shift of CICS operations. When you have gained experience collecting data over this time period, you can decide whether shorter or longer time periods better suit the needs of your installation.
