VISFILE (UIE/VM)

Purpose

Use the VISFILE command to request that UIE/VM generate a Visualizer file.
By default, UIE/VM generates interval time stamps in the VISFILE to correspond to the time zone of the VM Monitor data. However, at times, you might need to generate VISFILE time stamps with a different offset. For that purpose, you can use the TZA parameter. This parameter does not affect the specification of the processing interval, which is defined by the STIME and ETIME commands.
For more information on Visualizer graphs, see the Visualizer documentation.

Syntax

VISFILE TZA=<offset>

Syntax explanations

TZA=<offset> indicates that for your Visualizer file timestamps, you want to use a time zone adjustment. This value must be specified as a whole number in the
 range –23 to +23.

Rules

If the TZA=<offset> parameter is not used, the times are not adjusted.

Information
Example
VISFILE TZA=+02

This command results in the generation of a Visualizer file with two hours added to the start time of each interval.

Warning

Note

Response time values for guest operating systems, such as Linux or z/OS are not included in output XML models because guest response time cannot be measured in a meaningful way.
