Activity implementation

An activity implementation can represent a single technology configuration or multiple technology configurations, called cluster configurations.

Activity implementations are configured in the Activity Implementation tab, which contains two sub-tabs: Definition and Extension Details.

An activity implementation can represent one or more technology installations. When the activity implementation represents more than one technology installation it is usually for load balancing, fail over or other cluster configurations. A technology installation can be implemented on several hosts. In this case, configure each host that this activity implementation represents on the host list. Each technology installation on those hosts can use different identifiers or there can be multiple installations on a host. The Extension Details tab allows you to enter regular expressions or a string prefix (where supported) to allow an activity implementation to represent multiple technology configurations.
