TMTM Extensible Agent and extension files to distribute
This section describes the agent and extension files that are distributed to monitored agent machines. BMC recommends you use the Launch page to download the relevant installation files to the relevant machines, as described in the Agent and Extensions Layout section.
If you are upgrading an existing agent, stop the agent and extensions before distributing a new agent and extensions. For instructions on stopping agents and extensions, and installing and controlling the various extensions, see Installing and running performance and availability monitoring extensions.
