Basic command parameters for controlling the TMTM Extensible Agent

This section describes how to configure and control the TMTM Extensible Agent and includes:

Before you begin

• Verify that the installation steps have been completed for the layout you have chosen.
• Ensure that a directory exists in which the TrueSight Middleware and Transaction Monitor Configuration Agent is to run. See Creating environment directories on the agent machine for the Default layout.
• Verify the MQS_HOME environment variable has been defined and is active in the environment.
