Before you install Mainframe Predictor

Before you install Mainframe Predictor on your Windows console, consider the following tasks:

  • Configure your web server. This is an optional task that you need to do only if you want to publish baselines and reports to the web.

Note

 While you can configure the web server after you install BMC Performance Predictor for Mainframes, BMC Software recommends that you do it beforehand. 

  • Set up data compression for disk space management on your Windows system (optional).
