Using MainView for z/OS views
This section tells you how to use MainView for z/OS views to find out where your problems are occurring and why.
It anticipates some of the most commonly asked questions regarding system performance and points you to the views that contain the information that you need. The information is listed under the following categories
You might find that your questions, when answered, simply lead to more questions. You might be able to answer the questions by using predefined hyperlinks, or you might need to type a view name with its parameters on the COMMAND line.
Refer to the online Help to find what you need to know about a given view:
- whether you can use a predefined hyperlink to get to that view from the view currently displayed
- what parameters to type on the line to extract the precise information that you need
- what each field on the view contains
