The MainView for z/OS product displays the information that it gathers in a view.

When a view is selected for display, a structured query is executed against the collection of data for MainView for zOS to retrieve the relevant information. The data is formatted according to the associated set of instructions for the selected view.

MainView for z/OS provides over 300 views, each focusing on a different aspect of system performance.

With MainView for z/OS, you can change a view’s format—or form—without affecting its underlying query. For information about how this task is accomplished, type HELP FORM on any MainView COMMAND line.
