MainView Alarm Management
This section discusses MainView Alarm Manager, which works in conjunction with MainView for z/OS, as well as other MainView products, to provide alarms. These alarms display messages that can alert you when system resources are overutilized.
MainView Alarm Manager works in conjunction with many of the MainView products, including MainView for z/OS. MainView Alarm Manager is capable of monitoring multiple systems simultaneously, which means that MainView Alarm Manager installed on one system keeps track of your entire sysplex.
