Working with MainView for MQ

You can display MainView for MQ views and manage the panels in which the views are displayed in the same way that you do with any MainView product.

You can simultaneously display multiple windows of different sizes, you can direct actions from one window to another within one screen, and you can hyperlink from a field in one view to another view that provides related information.

For most of the views, you can perform one or more of the following actions:

  • enter commands that affect a message, a channel, a queue, or a queue manager
  • enter commands that display another view
  • enter a line command to affect an element listed on a view
  • overtype field values to affect an element listed on a view
  • hyperlink to a different view
