Log Edit
The Log Edit component of the MainView for IMS Offline product processes transaction workload data that is recorded in the IMS log. This processing prepares the data for use by MainView for IMS Offline. The Log Edit component consists of:
- Log Edit input data (see Log-Edit-input-data)
- Log Edit input parameters (see Log-Edit-input-parameters)
- IMFLEDIT program (see IMFLEDIT-execution)
- User exit routines (see Exit-routines)
- Output reports (see Log-Edit-reports)
- Output file (a detailed IRUF) (see Detailed-IRUFs)
You can create the JCL for IMFLEDIT:
- Manually by using the provided information
- Online by using the JCL Generator (see JCL-Generator)
