zIIP processing options

The IBM System z Integrated Information Processor (zIIP) options determine which sort routine to use.

  • NOZIIP

    The NOZIIP option is the default, and indicates that the standard system sort program is used to sort the IRUF.

  • ZIIP

    Indicates that the BMC zIIP enabled sort is used to sort the IRUF.

    If the BMC zIIP sort cannot be performed, return code of 132 is generated and a message is written to the job log explaining why the sort failed. TASCOSTR finishes normally by using the standard system sort instead.
