CUOW view
The CUOW view provides information about all units of work (UOWs) for CICS regions within the current context.
To display the CUOW view, issue the following command:
CUOW [region] [[business_uow_ID] [network_uow_ID] [initial_transaction_ID]
where:
Parameter | Description |
|---|---|
region | Is the specific or generic name of a target CICS region |
business_uow_ID | Is a 30-character business UOW ID |
network_uow_ID | Is a 54-character network UOW ID |
initial_transaction_ID | Is the transaction identifier that started the UOWs |

Usage notes
- The local UOW ID, which is the last part of the business_uow_id, is associated with the work on a single CICS system.
- All UOW inquiry fields defined to the CUOWD detail view are defined to this view.
- The network UOW ID is visible to the right of this view.
Actions
The CUOW view supports the following line command actions:
Line command | Description |

BAC | Sets the UOW state to BACKOUT to force syncpoint backout processing |
COM | Sets the UOW state to COMMIT to force syncpoint commit processing |
FBC | Sets the UOW state to FORCE to force back out or commit, as specified on the ACTION option of the transaction resource definition |
DEL | Invokes the DELETE action for a UOW communication link that was created by a connection that has been discarded When the connection still exists, the UOW communication link might not be deleted. UOW communication links associated with Resource Recovery Services (RRS) can be deleted when RRS is cold started. This line command is valid only when displaying the UOW communication links in the CUOWLNK, CUOWLNKD, or CUOWLNKZ views. |
SET | Sets the value in a modifiable field to the new value you type in that field In CUOW views, the UOW State field is modifiable. The field must contain exactly the value you want. You must clear the field of any other data to prevent it from being passed as part of the new value. |
