Distributed alarms
This section describes the alarms that are distributed with MainView for CICS and includes the following section:
MainView for CICS distributes a set of alarms that use pre-defined threshold values. After you have implemented the alarms, you can easily modify the alarms to operate on user-defined threshold values. For more information about alarms, see the section about using distributed alarms in Using MainView Alarm Management.
Distributed alarms view (ALRMDIST)
The ALRMDIST view displays the list of distributed alarms for MainView for CICS. You can select an alarm from the ALRMDIST view and add it to the active alarms library.
