CICS application trace (ATRAC)

Data collection must be activated by starting the trace before data can be displayed with the application trace services. A trace can be started by

  • Using the Start Trace (ST) command on the CT view
  • Using line commands in task-related views to start detail trace for an active transaction
  • Defining ATRAC requests in an AUTOBLK member of your BBI-SS PAS BBPARM data set and referring to it in member BBIISP00 to start the requests automatically
  • Writing an EXEC to issue the SET command for the ATRAC service. For more information, see Start-detail-traces-with-automation.
