Usage notes
- The CT view can be used in both target mode and SSI mode; however, the context affects the view content as follows:
- Target mode displays active traces for the selected CICS target.
- SSI mode displays all active traces for all targets in the context.
- Target mode is required to use the following commands:
- ST primary command
- W, M, P, R, and Q line commands
- If the Log Stat field is blank, it means logging was not requested for this trace.

Usage notes
- The Trace Title field identifies the transaction for which the trace was started.
- The Trace ID field shows the trace name in the format dt countnnnnn, where dt means detail trace, followed by these variables:
- count shows the number of times the trace has been repeated for the same transaction. Valid values are 0-9, where 0 is the initial trace. Thus, you can start up to 10 traces for the same transaction.
- nnnnn is the five-digit transaction number.
- Only one in-flight trace can be active for a given task at one time. You must stop the currently active trace and wait until it has a status of Complete before you can start another trace for that task. In CT view with in-flight traces, dt000122 and dt100122 were stopped before the third in-flight trace, dt200122, was started.
- The in-flight trace remains in an active status after the task ends, but no additional trace data will be recorded.
