CHIST view

To display general history information, perform one of the following actions:

  • Hyperlink from the EZCSHIST Easy menu by using the Task Data hyperlink.
  • Hyperlink from the EZCFSSI Easy menu by using the History Menu -> Task Data hyperlink.
  • Search for records with the CHISTORY dialog. After entering search parameters and pressing the Enter key, the CHIST view is displayed with records that match the selection criteria, if any. See Using-the-CHISTORY-dialog.

  • Issue the following command:

    CHIST [* [regionName]]

    where * is a placeholder, and regionName is the name of a CICS region.

The CHIST view is displayed.

Usage notes

The CHIST view is displayed whenever the CHISTORY dialog is used to search for records.

Note

If you navigate to the CHIST view from any view except CHISTORY, the interval used is the current MainView TIME duration. If, instead, you navigate from CHISTORY, the MainView TIME duration is ignored and the time frame used comes from the CHISTORY dialog.

CHISTQ

To display the Quick Menu for history views, hyperlink from the Task Num field on the CHIST view. CHISTQ provides access to the primary CHISTD* detail views.

CHISTD

To display detailed history information, hyperlink from the Lcl Task End Date field of the CHIST view.

CHISTDE

To display detailed elapsed time information, hyperlink from the Response Time field of the CHIST view.

CHISTDC

To display information about CPU time, hyperlink from the CPU Time field of the CHIST view.

CHISTDST

To display detail information about storage control usage, hyperlink from the Storage HWM field of the CHIST view.

CHISTDF

To display detail FC information, hyperlink from the File Utilization field of the CHISTQ view.

CHISTDD

To display detail information about DB2 plan usage, hyperlink from the DB2 Utilization field on the CHISTQ view.

Note

For additional information about DB2 plan usage, you can hyperlink from the Subsystem ID field on CHISTDD to the TRLTRAC view in MainView for DB2.

CHISTDQ

To display detail MQ Series information, hyperlink from the MQ Series Utilization field of the CHISTQ view.

Note

For additional information about WebSphere MQ usage, you can hyperlink from the MQ Subsystem ID field on CHISTDQ to the MQITRACE view in MainView for WebSphere MQ.

CHISTDL

To display detail DBCTL information, hyperlink from the DL/I Utilization field of the CHISTQ view.

CHISTDPG

To display detail information about program usage, hyperlink from the Program Control field of the CHISTQ view.

CHISTDTM

To display detail information about terminal ID associated with a transaction, hyperlink from the Term ID field of the CHIST view.

CHISTDTQ

To display detail information about TS/TD usage, hyperlink from the TS/TD/Journal Control field of the CHISTQ view.

CHISTDBT

To display detail information about business transactions, hyperlink from the Business Transaction-Server Data field on the CHISTQ view.

CHISTDFP

To display detail history information about FEPI, hyperlink from the Front End Programming Interface field of the CHISTQ view.

CHISTDWB

To display detail information about web usage associated with the transaction, hyperlink from the WEB (CWI/Documents) field of the CHISTQ view.

CHISTDTC

To display detail information about TCP/IP sockets associated with the transaction, hyperlink from the Sockets (TCP/IP) field of the CHISTQ view.

CHISTDTP

To display information about the TCP/IP interface utilization by a task, hyperlink from the Sockets Utilization (MCT) field of the CHISTQ detail menu.

CHISTDCN

To display detail information about a tasks usage counts for all activity pertaining to creating and accessing channel containers, hyperlink from the Channel/Container Utilization field on the CHISTQ view.

CHISTDJV

To display detail information about Java virtual machines associated with a transaction, hyperlink from the Java Utilization field of the CHISTQ view.

CHISTDEX

To display detail information about the EXEC CICS SPI and API commands associated with a transaction, hyperlink from the EXEC Interface Commands field of the CHISTQ view.

CHISTZ

To display summarized information based on the Tran ID field, enter the SUM command from the CHIST view.
