Creating a trigger
Enter edit mode and open the Events tab.
Open the Triggers tab.
Click New Trigger (icon) on the toolbar and enter a name for the trigger. The name identifies the object in the Triggers tab.
Add the trigger logic to the drawing pane and ensure that any input nodes or mathematical operators are defined. A trigger used in a template can have a maximum of one typed topic input node, and not contain any topic input nodes.
Add an end node to the trigger flow. Every trigger flow must end with an end node.
Connect the trigger nodes in the flow. Click over a terminal and drag the mouse to connect the terminals on the nodes. Repeat for all nodes on the trigger drawing pane.
Success
Nodes are evaluated from left to right and from top to bottom. Hover over a node for a tool tip description of that node.
Click Validate to validate the trigger.
Click Commit to save the trigger.
Once validated, the trigger can be used in an event rule or template.
