This section describes how to uninstall the MainView monitoring extension and includes:
To uninstall the MainView monitoring extension from Windows platforms
Stop monitoring on the extension. If you do not stop the monitoring, the item appears in the MVMM Monitor console after it is removed.
Stop the monitoring extension and uninstall it:
Enter qpmainview.bat --status to check that the monitoring extension is stopped. If it ise running, enter qpmainview.bat --stop
Enter qpmainview.bat --remove
To uninstall the MainView monitoring extension from UNIX and z/OS platforms
Stop monitoring on the extension you want to uninstall. If you do not stop the monitoring, the item appears in the MVMM Monitor console after it is removed
Stop the monitoring extensions and, if no longer needed for other extension monitoring, stop qpea and uninstall by deleting the distribution directory.
