Supported upgrade paths

The MainView Middleware Monitor installation program supports direct upgrades from the two most recent versions of the product. If you are running earlier versions of the product, you must perform at least one interim upgrade before you can directly upgrade to the latest version of the product.

Core components

The installation program for the MainView Middleware Monitor core components supports direct upgrades from the latest two versions of the product. To upgrade from an earlier version of the product, we recommend you follow a sequential upgrade process, as shown in the following illustration:
