Views and dashboard reference
View pane context menu
When in edit mode, right-click an empty part of the view pane to open the view pane context menu.
Option | Description |

Properties | |
Select All | Select all the items on the view or dashboard. |
Paste | Paste the contents of the clipboard onto the view or dashboard. You can paste a display item multiple times from a clipboard. Pasted items do not keep their attribute associations. |
Paste Here | Paste the contents of the clipboard onto the view pane at the cursor location. |
Snap to Grid | Snaps the selected component to the nearest grid coordinates when moved or dropped. The rubber band displayed when moving or resizing items snaps to the grid. |
Display Grid | Display the grid. |
Grid Size | Select grid resolution. |
Load Group | Load a group of display items from the media server group repository. The group is pasted to the top left corner of the view pane. |
Load Collection | Opens the Load View Control Collection dialog box, from which you can select an existing Collection. This is only displayed for physical views. |
View pane properties
The properties of a view pane apply to a specific view or dashboard. View pane properties can be set differently for different views and dashboards. For example, you can define different background colors for different views.
Display items properties tabs describes the tabs and options on the view pane properties dialog box.
View pane toolbar
The view pane toolbar contains a button icon for each display item type. Use the view pane toolbar to insert and move display items in a view or dashboard. See Display item types for a description of each display item type.
